Swimming is an awesome team sport that is done in the water.
Swimming involves styles, There are many styles like Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle, and Butterfly. You can also do your own style like kicking with the bored, butterfly kick, backstroke kick and many more. There are also under waters, Under waters is a drill to do past the blue and white flags. Kicking with the board and other styles for warming up, as you do kick down after is also helpful.
Swimming also involves a lot of body movement. There are also metres. The different metres are normally 25m, 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, but you could do as many as you want.
Swimming can help exercise the lungs, its particularly good for people with asthma, swimming is breath taking as there are 7 stroke, 5 stroke and 3 stroke (or as many as you can do) .
Swimming can involve competition that you will need equipment for like Togs, Goggles and a cap to make you move faster in the water.
Before you do a competition you will need to stretch your body.You will need to train for a competition and do simple Things for warm up.
What makes you want to do swimming?
Swimming can make you fit, your lungs, your arms and you body become fit.
Lessons are also involved as well as games with your friends and a end of year party.
As your team becomes bigger you start making your own uniforms that will not cost much.
As you just join a swim team you will have plain togs, no so good goggles and no cap.
But as you get stronger you will be in need of proper togs,goggles and cap.
You should try swimming your self, in a couple of years you could be swimming laps!
