Kia ora my name is Nevaeh, I live in Ōtaki, New Zealand and I am 11 years old, A fun fact about me is that I am māori.  I am a competitive swimmer and love to play sports.  I go to Ōtaki College and my favourite subject is P.E and Kaiarahi.  Netball is my favourite sport and so is Flag.  My favourite brands are under armour and Tommyhilfiger.  My favourite swim brand is arena and funkita.  My best friends are Te Aorangi, Kyra, Te Maia, Chartreuse and more.  My favourite foods are mc donalds and pasta.  I really enjoy the foxton fizz drink as well as frozen cokes.     I am the only girl in my family  (persides my mum) with 3 brothers and my dad, we have one dog called rocky and many fishes.  I love to listen to music in my spear to like just blast it out really loud and dance to it is my vibe. My favourite colour is red any type it doesn't matter.  I have brown eyes and hair. I do not like waking up early but I play sports so I do it alot, I am Maori .  And that's my awesome life

OC Swimming Sports

“Welcome to swim sport” said Mr Ward as I entered the pool area “you may place yourself under your house colour tent” as I do what I got told, in the spare time I proper  for the first race “ 200 m Freestyle !” roars Mr Ward as loud as possible for the crowd to hear “ year 7&8s 200 m Freestyle!” I become light head and I breathe heavily as I run with a crowd to Marshalling

“ First race, lane one Nikaia, lane two” as his voice began to Speak slower and slower “Nevaeh” my heart pounding “lane three…” and so on and so on, “take your marks !” as I try to forget my troubles… *BANG* the sound of the gun Ecos between my ear drums, I race throw the water.

Last lap as I get tried and started to breathe on one side as the lane ropes began to change colours, Red, Green, Blue, repeating the colors over and over again as I see the end “ Sprint finish” my thoughts say to me, I sprint to the end and look up “IM FIRST” I say with joy, I get out of the pool as the others finish and walk over to my tent to get dry. Later on throw the day I had finished a couple of races and found out I had placed 3 records for the year 7&8 girls. 

Later on after lunch everyone came to the pool area some fun races like horse and carts and other fun activities.*(Bell rings)* I ran out with the crown still in my togs then I got changed in the toilet and then went home.
